If you find yourself in a losing battle with another player this tip can help save you from being podded and losing all of your expensive implants. Before your ship is destroyed, choose a planet or stargate and use the align command on your selected item toolbar. This will line you up with your target so that you can warp away as soon as your ship is destroyed. The trick is to be mashing that warp command to improve your chances, if you are quick enough you just may live to fight another day.
